How to get to Alushta?
Crimea's transportation harbor is Simferopol. Here is the Ukraine's only airport with flights from other Ukrainian
cities and a few international destinations, and this is where most people get off the train to travel to Yalta
and Crimea's South Shore.
Planes fly to Simferopol from Kyiv Zhulyany airport every day. The trains from Kyiv are overnight (14-16 hours)
and have beds for sleeping.
The distance from Simferopol Airport to Alushta is 65 km. You can get to Alushta by taxi, bus or trolleybus.
The distance from the Simferopol Railroad to Alushta is 60 km. You can take a taxi or go by bus or trolleybus.
Any Workshop participant who needs transportation from the Simferopol airport to the Pansionat "Dubna" will be
provided with a car or a minibus by the Organizing Committee. Let us know your arrival / departure dates as soon
as you know them.
